Nusantara Day 2013 (Hari Nusantara 2013), Indonesia

Nusantara Day 2013 was held back by the peak of the event which will be held in Palu , Central Sulawesi , on December 13, 2013 . There are lots of coloring activity Nusantara Day celebrations this year , such as tourist attractions , national seminars and talk about the sea , cultural arts degree , product exhibitions , dance and music with a nautical theme .

The theme for this event is " sky high as the ocean -deep , and the Tourism Potential of the archipelago 's Infinite Creativity " . This theme describes the richness and diversity of marine resource potential of Indonesia that provides infinite benefits , both from the economic , social , and cultural . In addition, the Nusantara Day theme this year is intended to motivate people to explore and move the sector of tourism and creative economy in order to build the future of the nation .
There will be supporting events that are not less interesting in the Nusantara Day , 2013, the Indonesian World Underwater Photo Contest in 2013 and the Indonesian Fishing Tournament is open to the public . In addition, there is the selection of the Son and Daughter of the Sea, the sea clean-up activities related to the mangrove forest and planting organizing the annual event . Completing the festive event , the plan will be a parade of warships in the Gulf of Palu .

Nusantara Day held every year in a different place each year to consider the potential maritime identical with the selected region . This activity was originated from Juanda Declaration of 1957 , which " Indonesia is an archipelago nation as a territorial conception insight to realize the archipelago. "
Sectors of tourism and creative economy can not be separated by the sea . Therefore , this activity is important development of the tourism sector and creative economy . There are seven thematic tour ( special interest ) and three of them were associated with the beach and sea ( nature tourism and ecotourism , sports tourism and recreation , and sightseeing cruises ) .
